Job Description for Female Personal Trainer for a VIP Family Job Opportunity:
This position is to provide one-to-one training to an VIP family in Sharjah. Working hours are from 9:00am – 5:30pm, 6 days per week, in a relaxed working environment.
This role is a full time position with a basic salary. The package will also include a visa, medical insurance, accommodation, annual flights and a car will be provided. Petrol will be at the candidates own expense.
The PT will provide evaluations, design individualised training programs and meal plans, and measure the client’s fitness and health conditions.
As the family personal trainer, you will assess bodily strengths and weaknesses and create customized workout plans for each member. You will provide physical and mental guidance and monitor their progress on a regular basis. You’ll explain the exercises in a clear and efficient way, while demonstrating how to use the training equipment safely, to avoid injuries. You will help create nutritious meal-plans for each member and monitor progress continuously. You will maintain a clean and hygienic gym and workout areas.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate clients’ fitness levels and health conditions
- Build individualized exercise programs and document in books
- Explain exercises in detail and suggest alternatives if needed
- Monitor progress of clients’ fitness levels
- Explain safe and proper use of gym equipment
- Research on new exercise techniques and trends
- Perform CPR and administer first aid in case of emergencies
- Inform clients about on gym safety and hygiene guidelines
- Build a positive and trusting relationship with client
- Create nutritious meal-plans for client
- Advise client on how to change nutritional and lifestyle habits as needed
- Clean all gym equipment and maintain clean towels in the gym
- Monitor and maintain maintenance contacts
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Recognised personal training qualification (minimum REPs Level 3 or equivalent)
- Pilates/Yoga certification would be advantageous but not required
- First Aid is essential
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Minimum 3 years experience in the industry
- Knowledge on various fitness programs, with exercise regression and progression
- Self-motivated
The candidate should be family oriented – The client has a sister who is autism who is in her 30s. The trainer would need to be friendly, a good friend, and to control the sister’s diet and encourage her to do some workouts – this is not a requirement for her, but as long as she is happy.
