Job Description for Area Sales Manager Job Opportunity:
Position Summary
You will execute sales growth in the designated End Market sector to meet agreed targets through leveraging project development and customer relationships.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the O&G Sector/Country Manager, you will deliver profitable sales growth throughout Qatar, work with Inside sales team, engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing to ensure the customers’ requirements are met in full whilst managing expectations in a proactive manner.
Experience Requirements
- Sales experience in manufacturing (industrial engineering ideal) and accompanying proven track record of success, likely to be gained from at least 6-8 years in a similar role in Qatar
- Knowledge and experience of sales techniques
- Key contacts with the decisions makers / stake holders covering O&G end users, epcs, consultants and OEMs based in Qatar
- A proven track record achieving sales targets
- Is commercially capable – keeping up to date with competitor information and market trends and who thinks in terms of profit, loss and added value
The Successful Candidate
- Degree or recognised qualification in Engineering
- Good command of English, (both spoken and written)
- Collaborative working across a variety of business units, challenging siloed thinking wherever it appears
- Can lead, motivate, and create a positive working culture, through leading by example
- A strong ability to persuade and influence others with a high level of business acumen and passion for business growth
- Ability to build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Based in Qatar
